The Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and State Testing (ÚNMZ), through the EU and International Cooperation Department, continuously coordinates cooperation with European and non-European countries that wish to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with the Czech Republic in the areas of competence of the ÚNMZ, which are metrology, state testing and standardization.

Mezi státy, s nimiž ÚNMZ v rámci shora uvedených zásad dosud navázal spolupráci v některé z oblastí jeho působnosti, patří: Ázerbájdžán, Čína, Bosna a Hercegovina, Bulharsko, Kazachstán, Moldavsko, Rumunsko, Rusko, Sýrie, Turecko, Ukrajina a Uzbekistán. ÚNMZ aktuálně realizuje v Gruzii projekt pod názvem " Preparation of technical specifications for the implementation of the EU project according to the current needs and requirements of the beneficiaries".
