Announcement of a new national benchmark

As of 9.6.2020, the Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and State Testing announced a new State standard for thermal neutron fluence power, the storage of which is entrusted to the Czech Metrology Institute - Regional Inspectorate Prague.

Technical data of the new state standard including its metrological characteristics are given in the approval protocol dated 9 June 2020, deposited in the Metrology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and in the Fundamental Metrology Department of the Czech Metrology Institute in Prague.

The announcement of the approval of the new national standard will be published in issue 7 of the Bulletin of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Currently, the Czech Republic has 59 state standards, of which 56 state standards are kept by the Czech Metrology Institute and 3 state standards are kept in associated laboratories - the Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography (VÚGTK v.v.i.) in Zdiby and the Institute of Photonics and Electronics (ÚFE AV ČR v.v.i.) in Prague.
