Evaluation of the New Legislative Framework (NLF, New Legislative Framework) focuses on five main criteria -

The evaluation is not concerned with the issue of harmonised standards and market surveillance. The target group for the evaluation consists mainly of economic operators, industry associations, national authorities responsible for implementing product legislation, notifying authorities, notified bodies, market surveillance authorities (MSAs), standardisation organisations and consumer associations.
